HomeCare Elite - Greenwood County

Greenwood County Home Health is a Not-For-Profit Agency and was established in 1993 to provide home health care to area residents. Throughout the years, many changes have occurred and in 2006, Outcome Concept Systems (OCS) started reporting agencies that are among the top 25% in the nation. They even go further to name the Elite Top 100 and 500 agencies in the nation. Currently, there are almost 10,000 agencies nationwide that are considered for this Elite recognition.

The HomeCare Elite recognition started in 2006. GWCH HH has been recognized as a HomeCare Elite Agency all ten years. During these ten years, Top 100 agency honors were awarded for 5 of those years; 2 years receiving Top 500 agency honors as well as 2 years receiving Top Agency honors.

Greenwood County Home Health strives to provide excellent quality care to patients and being listed on the OCS website as being an Elite Top 100, Top 500, and Top Agency every year since 2006 is proof of the hard work and dedication by the staff. Our clinical team consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Home Health Aides. Working in collaboration with a physician, we work to safely take care of patients while helping them to stay at home for as long as possible.
