About Us

The GWCH Laboratory offers a comprehensive menu of clinical laboratory testing and is staffed
by certified personnel who are dedicated to the efficient handling and quality testing for
thousands of testing per year. With the state-of-the-art equipment, our skilled staff is able
to provide and assist your physician with crucial information and data to determine effective
treatments for your health needs. We take pride in our superior quality and excellent service.

The GWCH Clinical Laboratory is licensed with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement
Amendments (CLIA).

Blood Bank
ABO/Rh Type, Antibody Screen, Crossmatches, DAT/ Coomb's Test
Hematology
CBC with auto/ manual diff, Hgb/Hct count, Platelet count, ESR
Coagulation
PT/INR, APTT, D-dimer
Clinical Microscopy
Urinalysis, Urine sediments (microscopy), Pinworm, KOH/Scabies, Calculi screen, Vag
screen, Wet mount, Occult blood screen
Chemistry
General Chemistry, CMP/BMP, Lipid Panel, Liver Panel, Thyroid Panel, PSA, BHCG level,
Cardiac Test, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Urine Drug Screen, Alcohol/Ammonia level,
HA1C level, Glucose Tolerance Test, Arterial Blood Gas
Immuno/Serology
Mycoplasma screen, Mono screen, Flu A/B, RSV, Strep A screen, Pregnancy test, HIV
screen, RF/ASO screen, H. pylori screen, C. diff
Reference Laboratory
For those tests that the laboratory is not able to perform in-house are sent to our
reference labs, LabCorp for special chemistry and toxicology and SBA Hospital Lab for
microbiology testing.

Outpatient Laboratory Information

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Weekends and Holidays: 7:30 am to 9:30 am

The laboratory also performs urine collection for pre-employment or post accident and is sent
to your employer's reference laboratory for testing. Please make sure you have the correct
chain of custody form for this.
